Service Project-Environmental Stewardship

Mark your calendars! On Saturday, April 12, from 9:00 AM to noon, our Lions Club will
be teaming up with Calvin University’s Plaster Creek Stewards for a hands-on
environmental service project.
Greenhouse Work – We will be assisting in the greenhouse with transplanting
seedlings, an essential step in supporting local environmental restoration. This task is
accessible for all abilities, with stools available for sitting and no heavy lifting
required.
This is a family-friendly event, and non-members are welcome to join! Calvin
University will provide gloves and tools, so just bring yourself and a willingness to
help. Please wear closed-toed shoes and clothes that can get dirty.
