Dwelling Place is a non-profit organization in Grand Rapids dedicated to providing affordable housing and support services to low-income individuals and families. Their mission is to create vibrant communities, revitalize neighborhoods, and empower residents through quality housing, essential support services, educational opportunities, and community development initiatives.

One purpose of the Lions’ upcoming visit will be to tour properties with the intent to evaluate  how residences look and feel from an outside perspective, keeping in mind the interests of current and future residents. There will be a 30 – 45 minute training and informational session to learn by what standards volunteers will be evaluating, and how best to be of service.

Plan to carpool to the properties in Kentwood and Grand Rapids with a group!
